| Class Goal: | This class will focus on logic training and brain exercise. It intends to lead students to open their mind and improve their math problem solving skills, in addition to the regular public school education. The class will spent less time on reviewing basic concepts and calculation methodologies.
The tentative teaching plan is for 3 years based on the text book. This specific class is the second year class in the series. We will work on challenging questions (% of correct responses<40%) in Division E + easy questions in Division M (middle school level). For beginning level/younger students, please check MO I class offered at 4:00-4:50pm.
I taught this series of classes at CSCH in 2015-2018 school years and found this pace fit the natural development for most students. Parents are welcome to email me if you have questions or concerns. |
