How to change the schedule of parent on duty email reminder?

How the job is run?

The website can send email to the parents who have signed up for the parent on duty for the class their children has enrolled. There is a scheduled job that is run at 8:00PM every night to check if we should send email or not.

The application checks the configuration key of email.parent.days-before, which specifies how many days before the class to take place. If the value is less or equal to 0, it will not send any email. Otherwise, it checks the classes that will take place email.parent.days-before days and find all these parent-on-duty and send the email.

All adult members of the students' who has signed up parent on duty will receive the email.

How to change the schedule?

Go to Administration > Configurations, and find the key eamil.parent. days-before. Set the email.parent.days-before to an integer. The value suggest how many days before the class take place should the email reminder be sent. Setting it to a negative number will stop sending the reminders.
